I’m Outta Here!

March 3, 2017

Today at 11:45 I finished teaching  for the week. Today marks the beginning of spring break for Wylie Prep. What a way to start this week of spring break our sweet Sara returned to art class for the first time.  I have missed her so much while she recovered from the wreck.  That smile filled my heart with so much hope and love.  Oh my goodness I’m so looking forward to this week. I wanna fill it with tons of memories, projects and organizing. All of which you will read about over the next week. Tonight we get it all underway with a ROAD TRIP!

My truck is loaded and my house sitters is here. I’ve given him instructions for my puppies, plants and projects. Great I have someone who can take good care of my home and do repair work on furniture for Blue Happy. Karen and Tim are almost here and then we are off. We are Waco bound! My happy place to be, the best place for me to gather my thoughts, ideas and calm my soul.

Tonight’s about a good dinner and good company. We will sit at Manny’s on the River for hours enjoying ourselves. Tomorrow is a full day of shopping at Heritage Homestead, Magnolia, Junky Monkey and so much more. I have a list of items I’m shopping for. That list is of Blog readers, friends and family looking for items they want. Heather and Eileen your top of my list this trip. If you are looking for something special send me a message on Facebook asap. It’s not a long trip we will be home on Sunday.  Next week is a full week of projects and getting a few things underway that are coming up for Blue Happy.  Big plans are in the works for the  end of year event.  I’m so excited and more excited about the fact that my sweet daughter is a big part of those plans.

As I packed this afternoon I noticed something I had never notice before.  I’m a person that loves good products.  I don’t mind the cost if it works and holds its worth.  I buy my makeup from my plastic surgeons office, the brand is Jane Iredale.  I love it because it has an all day stay and it’s not heavy and doesn’t make my face break out.  Erin is the skin person at his office and she does such a great job helping with my skin and make-up.  When I first bought my compact she put in the replaceable powder.  Recently I had to buy a new replacement and by the way that powder lasted 6 months.  Today when I popped out the old one so I could put in the new one this is what I saw under the empty powder tray.  WOW the small voice inside me says this all the time.  It’s my life motto to live by.  It was such a nice reminder as I pack to go to my happy place.

Next weekend on Saturday March the 11th  the next sidewalk sale will happen at Doc Holliday’s Emporium 113 S Birmingham Wylie.  I’ve been working for a month on these projects for this sale.  Most of them have not yet been on the blog so you will only see them at the sale.  This time the collection is bigger, better and more creative than ever.  Mirrors, dressers, coffee tables of all sizes will be on display and for sale along with so much more.  The sale is 10-6 Saturday with items outside and inside in my booth.  On Sunday it’s all inside from 1-5.  All my items inside and out will be 20% off both Saturday and Sunday. Everything is redone and recycled for your home.

Well I hope you have an amazing weekend and make lasting memories.  I know I’m gonna have one Blue Happy time while in my happy place Waco.  I can’t wait to have a Silo Bakery cup cake, yummy!
