Surgery Update #2

June 3, 2017

Thursday and Friday were a bit bumpy to put it one way. I was all like this isn’t so bad then POW all the feeling starting coming back. I waited through the pain and decided not to return to the pain meds. I’m glad I didn’t I really hate the way they make me feel. I like my head clear and those things are the opposite of clear-headed. I’m feeling so much better this morning so I wanted to update you about what is ahead. So I’m spending my recovery time trying to heal naturally with eating fresh foods, praying, relaxing as much as my weird little head will let me and just trying to keep at peace.

Fresh from my patio garden!

I’m not back to doing things as of yet. Not allowed to bend forward is such a pain. Four more weeks of that is going to drive me crazy. If you see me out and I have a crazy eyed look on my face, well it’s the not bending forward thing. I bought one of those grabber things on Amazon. My doggies Cooper and Cherry are afraid of it. Not sure why but the minute it came out of the box they took off. It has been handy though so they gotta get over it.

These are new items available in my booth at Doc Holliday’s!

My booth at Doc Holliday’s has taken the hardest hit from this surgery. I prepared ahead of time and thought that I would have plenty of items to stock the shelves. Well I totally failed on that because I estimated wrong on how much I needed. My back stock is all gone and my booth looks like a clearance rack after Christmas. Greg is helping me this weekend and I hope to have it filled up by Monday. Greg is standing by to turn furniture, lift things and in general just help me as I paint things.  Thank you for all your support of my art pieces. It fills my heart with joy knowing you love my art furniture so much. BIG SURPRISE!!! I will be bringing to my booth some of my paintings that will be for sale over the next few weeks.  They are canvas acrylics and  gallery wrapped so they are ready to hang, no expensive framing needed.  Also added to the booth this coming week will be Blue Happy one of a kind bracelets.  These bracelets are hand-made by me and no two are alike.  I will also be offering these online in a few weeks. If you know me you know that I almost always have 3 or more bracelets on my arm.
More great items in my booth!

I’m happy to say that Heather is now on the Blue Happy website team she is revamping the website and will be adding my online items that you can order and have shipped to you.  We will start slow and add more items over time.

It hurts to sit here at my desk and I’m old school and don’t have a lap top. So I’m gonna go for now. Next week 5 new blogs of all redo’s for you. Have a Blue Happy Weekend!

    1. You are my hero! I love you and I hate you. Your talent amazes me beyond comprehension. Your ability to “get through it” angers me though, you need time to heal. Mind, spirit AND body. All my heart-

      1. You know me well and taking time is hard for me. I like to run after life every second of the day. I’m so gonna miss coming to the office.
