Get Organize With Thrift Store Redo’s

August 21, 2017

I went on a quest to find things at next to nothing prices to organize your bathroom. I found so many cute things that will fill your bathroom with expected items and things that are the unexpected.

First I wanted to find something that will make your  morning routine go easier. It’s so important to weed out those items you don’t use daily. Have a place for the things you do use daily so it’s easy in easy out the door. I love trays with dividers and this beauty was found at a thrift store in Waco better know as my Blue Happy place. I picked it up for $8. I painted the inside teal and used my new Chalk Country Paint Product Casting to give it design and character. After that dried I painted it with black spray paint with an over lay of white spray paint. Then I shabby chic sanded it to reveal a bit of the black underneath. Now its so ready to organize your morning with all this products you need and love to use.

Have you ever had to look for your comb or hair brush? I have only to find it right in front of me. I love this idea using a wine tote to make a home for these items. I painted it to match the wood box inside color. I sanded the edges to let it’s shabby chic show and called it done. It was the perfect organizer for $3. Now you will always know where to put your brush and comb when you are done. The slim tall wine tote turned brush holder stays neatly on the back of your bathroom counter or under for easy storage.

Now here is the one item you are not thinking of for your bathroom counter. What about paper towels? Thank about it what if you didn’t have to wash so many towels from all the washing of the hands. I found this paper towel holder at a Good will store in Marble Falls Texas. Greg spotted it first and I grabbed it from him before he changed his mind. I painted it out to match the other 2 items and now all 3 items are tied together.

I love taking items that are unexpected to organize your family. The cost doesn’t really matter unless you are paying way to much, then that is so wrong. What a set up for any bathroom or maybe a dorm room. We all know that less laundry is so important for that college student so those paper towels will be handy. Think out side the box and think of how you can change things by using products for more than they are used for. Bless yourself and your day with less things to do and more time to love with memories.
