Bump In The Road

September 11, 2017

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING PHOTOS CAN BE SHOCKING!!! Do you ever have those moments when you think everything is going so great. You feel like you are well on your way to slaying the day, project or life in general. Then out of no where you are hit blind side by a bump in the road. What seem to be going so very good is now in a mess. How does that happen when you had everything all in order, on track and rolling right along. I’ve learned to deal with those moments and sometimes turning things around to get back on track can be more rewarding. That’s a hard one to admit but we all know we’ve had that happen.

Every school year I have all these great projects that I want to get done in class. It never fells supplies get back ordered or a company no longer offers that supplies. I’ve learned over the years to prepare more than the projects I need so if or when one fails I have a quick back up already set up. A perfect example of that was summer 2016 art camp it rained the first 3 days of the 4 day camp. Now for those of you that don’t know about my art camp it’s all outside. We have paint slip and slides, paint gun fights, toe painting, paint tug-of-war and so many other outside events. I had to hustle to gather supplies and projects that we could do inside and keep 75 kids entertained for 3 hours. We did it and on the 4th day we gave them an out-door art camp they would never forget. Some how it all worked out.

It’s so frustrating when you make plans or have a vision on how something will go and it doesn’t go that way. You find it hard to understand because you are doing what you need to do but somehow it goes south fast. Recently I found myself in just that ream of life. I was right on track with my working out and rebuilding my strength. Long story short I had an issue with my last incision just under my right arm towards the upper back incision. Scar tissue isn’t my friend at all and so I had to have a small section of my incision opened.

WARNING WARNING WARNING

PHOTOS CAN BE SHOCKING!!!

Well that was my Friday and weekend of not doing much at all. I get to return to do things on Wednesday and I can’t wait to get some projects done. I’m already working on the next sidewalk sale collection. It’s gonna be a Blue Happy explosive! Dr A is pleased with my progression and I know that I’m going in the right direction because my body is getting so strong.  This was a set back but only temporary because I’m looking past these slow days to busy days ahead.
