Sidewalk Sale Reveal Photo’s

September 9, 2017

Here we go again! This Saturday September the 9th is the sidewalk sale at Doc Holliday’s Emporium. My collection for this sale has a new twist with a new color. In the Chalk Country paint selection I picked a color I haven’t used before. It’s called Polished Turquoise and it is stunning. I used it on a few pieces so that it could be pulled together as a set or used as an accent piece. The dresser would be great as an entry way piece or in a bedroom as single punch of color.

One more reveal and I’ll keep the rest a surprise. I bought this round table at rustybydesignauction.com a week or so ago. It had no chairs but that was okay because I knew I had 4 chairs that would go with it perfect. The key to this perfect set is the imperfect. What I mean by that is the chairs don’t match. Two of the chairs have an over sanding to pull out all the layers of colors. Once wearing a bad paint job when sanded revealed another layer of white paint then dark stain. Letting all of these layers show through gives them the perfect imperfection. I kinda think that’s how we all are as humans but some how it just works. Anything that is metal and on wheels is a winner. This cute sturdy green cart is all that and decorative too. Coffee cart, entryway table, office or any other room in the house it’s a plus.

So there you are 3 reveals in one blog. This sale is from 10-6 Saturday the 9th. All of Blue Happy Living inside and out will be 20% off.  Have a Blue Happy weekend!
