The beautiful weather this weekend, a few good estate sales and a heart full of creativity equalled 40 new items. My booth at Doc’s runneth over. I was so inspired by the beautiful blue on Saturday I got busy letting all my creativity flow. I organized, planned, painted, recreated and organized some more. By Sunday my dining table was full of new and beautiful items that hand been restored. I was gonna take them on Monday to my booth but I couldn’t wait. I dropped into Doc’s around 4:15 and quickly tucked away all the new items

Not to far into my creativity on Sunday I decided to use spray paint. In all my hurry to get out the creative idea in my head I was careless. So careless that I forgot that I needed to protect my skin from the paint. Spray paint has adhesive and when that gets on my skin well it reacts and not in a nice way. I’ve spent the last few hours feeling the burn of my carelessness.
Although that was a bit of a downer I did get a lot done this weekend. I’m preparing for the Sidewalk sale next Saturday January 13th. The sale starts at 10 and goes until 6. I’m going to have lots of new items never before seen and items that are very different. The Blue Happy Living booth will be 20% off inside and outside. Bundle up and come in to get a great bargain from my booth and all the other dealers as well.
The estate sales this weekend were slim but Greg did his homework. There were 3 in our area so we hit them all. Two of those sales were great, but one not so much and it smelled to high heaven. You come across that a lot out there in estate sale land. I’ll take it though to find those items that need to be given new life.
My booth is full and so is my head with tons more ideas that I will be working on this week. I can’t tell you how crazy it is these days with school, Blue Happy Living stuff and family. I’m so blessed and not complaining. I’m just very happy to have such a full life. Just around the corner on February 2nd Blue Happy Living will be making another big announcement. We are going to stretch our wings just a little further.
