What A Joy To Watch

December 23, 2016

Have I said lately I love Christmas well if I haven’t let me say it now. I LOVE CHRISTMAS AND ALL THE JOY IT BRINGS. I love the true story of this holiday that sweet baby so many years ago. I’m that person that plays Christmas music in my car starting November 1st. It’s just the feeling of renewed promise you feel as the season begins to open up. It’s the feeling of giving and love you feel as the holiday approaches. I just love it and tonight just made my holiday complete. I watched my grandson in his first children’s church choir. Right behind him in the adult choir was his mommy my daughter. What a night for this Momma/Lolli two for the price of one.

When My daughter was a little girl my favorite thing was her in choir. Church, school and All City Girls Choir I cherished all of the performances. I looked forward to choir rehearsals because it was just Heather and I in the car. I drove her to every performance. Those were some very special times together, talking and sharing. I loved getting her dresses ready for her to perform. I enjoyed doing her hair and making her look just so pretty. Tonight brought back all those memories. I swear I almost started crying when she walked in on my left. I watched her all the way until she got on stage. Then when I realized her little boy, her own child was standing there in the same spot she started in OH MY SOMEBODY GIVE ME A TISSUE!

The performance was amazing and the spirit of Christmas was in the room. Ethan was a bit shy at first but then all the sudden he woke up. He showed all the spirit of his momma so many years ago. My daughters Church is small and full of young families I can see why she and Clint love it.

I’m so excited for the next couple of days. Gifts are wrapped, house is cleaned and tomorrow is all about preparing for our guest on Christmas Eve. I’ve shut down all my projects so that I can enjoy my family this weekend. Greg and I will be all about the projects next week but for now it’s all family and friends. Have a very Merry Christmas with blessings and Blue Happy memories made.
