Rumors, Rumors, Rumors Say It Isn’t So

July 20, 2018

On Monday of this week if you would have walked into my booth you would have thought I moved out. Well someone did and texted me to ask why I was closing my booth at Doc Holliday’s. Silly rumor starter I’m not closing my booth at Doc’s I just sold out of everything over the weekend. This has become a regular habit at Doc’s and I’m loving it.

This week I’ve been working hard to fill my booth back up and wanted to share a few of those items with you. On Saturday morning I will be adding even more pieces. I wanted to get it all up to Doc’s today but drying time just didn’t happen fast enough. So those pieces didn’t make the 5 o’clock run to Doc’s today. I’ll post photo’s of the items going on show in the morning. This is one of the many new items I dropped off today.

First up a smaller version of my farm table that is so popular. It will be great for a kitchen or small dining room. I love the benches and the old chair base that hold the seat. It makes for good conversation when people realize it’s a chair under there.

I often talk about a pop of color to make your room come together. Pick your favorite color and drop it in at least 3 spaces around a room. It will warm up boring and bland with a color that makes you smile when you walk in the room. I had two small tray style tables and added the all perfect and beautiful turquoise. Oh my goodness these two beauties are waiting to make any room Blue Happy.

I’ve added new pottery, artwork, pillows along with storage containers that add organizing and are decorative all at the same time. I’m in love with the wood box that is done in 3 different colors. This box would be perfect at the front or back door. Give each child a box and leave things in there for them to grab on the way out. Things like lunches, phone cords, books and when it gets cold again maybe gloves.

I only have so much wall space to hang art to show. I love art as if you couldn’t tell. I had an over abundance amount and wanted to set up something so I could have more in my booth. Well along came a shopping cart on trash day in a neighbors trash. It is now my new art cart for you to dig through all the artwork. I will be adding more in the morning as well. One of my favorite pieces that is on the wall right now is the map of the world with the words “Follow Your Dreams”.  I love art that inspires you and makes you think when you look at it.
