Opening Day Is Here

September 1, 2016

Today is the day Blue Happy Living opens a booth at Doc Holliday Emporium 113 Birmingham Wylie Texas.  I’m so excited that after a year I have a place to display the blog projects for you to shop.  It’s a small booth but I’m waiting on a bigger one to come open so I can offer larger pieces.  I don’t know if you have shopped this antique store before but it’s so cute.  The owner keep it clean and the booth owners display things nicely with out clutter. When I dropped by a few days before the first I found a welcome sign posted in my booth spot.  That was so nice and it made it all so real.  Blue Happy is growing and it feels good.

I decided to do this because so many of you contact me asking if I would sell the piece in blog project.  I do sell them but it’s hard to find a time for me to meet you at my home for a pick up.  Doc Holliday Emporium is the perfect place for you to shop and enjoy other dealers as well.  I’m going to change out the booth often and add new things.  I go pass the Emporium  everyday on my way to school so I will be checking in to make sure my booth is full of fun and organizing decor.  I will add some small things that I find at estate sales, thrift stores and garage sale that I recycle for a new life.   So there will be some larger pieces and small items as well.

While I have been preparing for the sale I’ve  had a few people ask me what does Blue Happy Living mean.  It’s really simple if you think about it.  I’m most happy when I’m outside under the canvas of God’s beautiful sky.  When I get down or upset my husband tells me to go get some blue. Living Blue Happy is a state of mind without so much clutter.  Having your home and family organized so you don’t waste time looking for things and not spending time with them.  Making your home a place that is for your family not things you don’t use or don’t need.  Living Blue Happy has grown over the past year to be so much more than what it started out to be.  My blog addresses things I deal with on a daily basis from school, to home and my life. I want my blog to inspire people to declutter, organize, create and enjoy the moment your feet are standing in.

I hope that you will visit Doc Holliday Emporium and enjoy shopping at my booth.  I promise to keep my prices affordable and change it out often for you to have options.  My plans for the blog in the future is to bring you all kinds of idea’s for your home.  With the holiday’s around the corner I’ll be doing projects full of gift ideas, holiday decorating and organizing all that holiday mess.  I hope you had a Thursday full of blessing,  I sure did have a Blue Happy day.
