Sold Out Again!

December 8, 2016

This is real and so exciting to me, my booth at Doc Holiday’s Emporium is doing so well. I started down stairs in a tiny little booth, moved up stairs in a bigger booth and then back down stairs in a big booth. It was doing well in all in all the spaces but the move back down stairs seems to be just right. We are seeing record sales and my back stash of completed projects is gone. So I guess it’s time to get back to stashing up the finished projects. I’m still on recovery so this will  be a bit tricky. Guess Greg is gonna have to pitch in and learn to take orders from the boss lady. If he reads this blog I’m in so much trouble. Really he is willing to help out. My booth is almost bone dry and we just restocked last Friday. Today I’ll be putting the finishing touches on a few small blog projects and hauling them up to Doc’s by 6 tonight. So rest assured my booth will be restocked and ready for the weekend shoppers.

Success for me is saving as many piece’s of left to die furniture as I can.  I can’t help myself maybe I need an intervention or something but I just love what I do.  All of the photo’s are of furniture tossed out to trash.  I have so many fun pieces of furniture in my head to create. It’s hard for me to go down to my storage unit and open it up because all these idea’s almost seem like a rumbling in my head.  I have to pick out 3 to 5 projects load them in my truck and shut the door.  If I don’t I end up hauling 10 – 15 projects back to the house and I get over whelmed.   It’s best if Greg goes with me so he can control the haul.

I’m excited for you to see the new projects coming up.  I have a set of end table’s, a few benches that have a twist or two, a center island with a wine cart and so many more fun things.  One of my favorite projects is coming up on the  blog in a few weeks it’s a desk.  This desk is to die for made from an old door an old carved table base and some added glass.  Sounds simple but this desk is not simple at all.  It’s stunning and grand with vintage charm and more chic than shabby.  Blessed I am that I can see this old table bases that wasn’t on anyone’s radar and know instantly It could be amazing with an old door a top it.  I could work none stop if I had the time on creative idea’s that float in my head.

We all have gifts, some of us know clearly our gift and some of us have to search and find to know.  I believe our gifts are our purpose and it is important for us to find and seek our gift to make life full.  It’s not always going to be grand, full of excitement and super powerful.  If you let it become your passion it will over take your heart with happiness.  I’ve been given many funny looks when I tell people I dig in trash to save furniture.  Some don’t even wanna give my blog a try because they are so turned off by what I do. Jokes on them because there is jewels beneath the dirt and grim.  It makes me Blue Happy and that is all that matters! Happy Thursday Ya’ll may you search and find your Blue Happy passion in life.
