Blessings, Projects and Blue Happy

July 31, 2018

Tonight I wanted to show you a project that would sweep you off your feet, but how in the world do I top yesterday’s project? That cabinet stirred so much in my creative soul that today was hard to focus. Early morning I lined up my projects and one by one I painted. One by one I gave each one a touch of creativity and one by one my focus was swept away in the creative moment.

The past few weeks I have been preparing for the opening of BoHo Buffalo in Waco. That all goes down on August the 10th. This Friday I start the journey of this new adventure as we make a trek to Waco with a loaded Uhaul. Every piece has been carefully selected, carefully created and carefully loved right down to the hardware selected. All in farmhouse style with little pops of color somewhere on most of the pieces.

One by one the projects have been finished.  To tell the truth my house looks like a furniture store has blow up in here.  There are farm tables with benches, end tables, rolling storage and chairs. The list goes on with so much to share.  Over the next few days I’ll be sharing all of these projects with you.

Tomorrow you get to see at least 10 of the 25 pieces.  I’m in love with them all and here is a little bit of a teaser.

My creative soul is full and running on overtime.  I’m feeling so blessed at this moment in my life.  All of this is sometimes like living in a fairy tale.  I’m so very tired but so very energized.  Tonight I was feeling a little bit over done as I sat down to eat a bite.

America’s Got Talent was on.  There was a beautiful lady that didn’t look very old.  She was in fact 71 years old.  She was there to dance and dance she did.  She and her partner were given a golden ticket to the live shows.  I was moved by her and her story.  You are never to old to start living your dreams.  So with that, I will say good night.  I’m off to bed 3:50am comes early and my day is full.  Enjoy the tease of the projects that you will see in my Wednesday blog.
