The Last Few Projects For Waco and A Lesson Learned

August 6, 2018

This past few weeks I have learned more about myself than every before.  Things like I’m strong-willed and stubborn.  I’m not one to take things at face value I want to know the why and how.  I’ve leaned that when I think I don’t have anymore to give I can dig deep and find more of me to give. Being tired is only my body not my heart and passion.  When you think you have hit your wall  you just need to find away around it, under it or over it.  This Blue Happy Living thing fills my cup and leaves me wanting more.  Feeling fulfilled and accomplished at the end of each day is what I want and I couldn’t ask for anymore.  On Friday I had no energy to do much of anything but finish up projects and make my inventory list. By bed time I was done, spent, finished with nothing left. I don’t even remember getting in bed. That is the day that taught me to push and push hard, to let my passion take over my body.  We loaded the truck and delivered all the new pieces to BoHo on Saturday. It was an intense ride with all the thoughts in my head. What if the pieces are damaged when we get there. What if they don’t like the pieces once they see them in person. What if a tornado comes and sweeps the uHaul off the road. It got that bad y’all I went a little off the deep end from sleep deprivation. All was good when the pieces were delivered and loved.

The collection is bright, farmhouse and shabby chic with a little bit of BoHo color here and there. I love the carved piece and the sanding back to bring out its beauty. My favorite has to the this little side table that no one wanted. After hours of work it now shines.

There is end table, farmhouse table, casual chairs, coffee table and so much more.  I loved redoing each and every piece.  I had moments I thought I wouldn’t finish, but I did.  I knew on Saturday driving back that I was to a point of shut down and that is what I did on Sunday.  I took a full day of rest.  I enjoyed my husband who by the way has been a trooper during all of this and such a big help.  I did something I never do and that was take a long, long afternoon nap. I also went to bed by 8pm Sunday night.  I woke Monday morning feeling like I could conquer the world.

It’s good that I woke up ready to attack my day. This Saturday is the sidewalk sale at Doc Holiday’s in Wylie.  I have a whole new collection coming into the Doc’s for the sale.  I’ll be loading it in all week so stay tuned for photo’s of what’s at the sale.  I have a few pieces I’m ready to move so they will be at a deep discount.  Rain or shine we will have a sale.  If it’s raining just use the sidewalk to come on in and shop in the cool comfort.

BIG NEWS IS COMING IS JUST A FEW WEEKS! MAYBE SOONER IF WE GET IT ALL IN ORDER.  I CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE THIS WITH YOU.  STAY TUNED FOR MORE BLUE HAPPY LIVING NEWS!
